Artwork Stolen In Ram Raid

Peter reaches out an arm to the public to help recover $60,000 of stolen stock.

Just before easter 2006, The PJ Art Gallery in Mount Tamborine was ram raided. The front entrance was smashed in by a vehicle, the gallery trashed and many of Peter's best pieces of artwork stolen.

An ongoing police investigation has had little sucsess in finding out any information regarding the locations of the stolen painting, and none have been recovered yet.

The attack was believed to have been planned with the intention of onselling the artwork on the black market. Be mindful if you are purchasing a piece of Peter's artwork from anyone other than the gallery you may be purchasing stolen goods.

The pictures we have on this page are of the stolen artwork, and on each are the sizes of the paintings stolen. If you have any doubt about what you are purchasing or if you recognise one of these items we encourage you to call the gallery or crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
